Two Brunei Scouts For Regional Forum In Bhutan

Bandar Seri Begawan - Bhutan Scouts Association is hosting a four-day Regional Communications Forum in the Asia-Pacific Region that will end October 2.
The forum is being held at the Chuniding Resort, Babesa, Thimpu, a training, ground for Kingdom of Bhutan national scout leaders.

Persekutuan Pengakap Negara Brunei Darussalam (Brunei Darussalam Scout Association) is sending two participants to this forum - Awang Sabtu binTimbang and Awang Aliyous Jeram Besi.
The objectives of the forum are to train national leaders responsible for communications, public relations and marketing in their respective scout association; to train the spokespeople of the movement; and to consult with each scout associations on ways to adapt the worldwide communication strategy. Other objectives are to implement World Scout Movement's communication strategy at international level and to create a network among actors of communication in scouting.

The Chief Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam Scout Association, Awang Haji Badar bin Awang Haji Ali and other officials were present at the airport yesterday morning to bid well wishes to the participants of Brunei Scout to the forum. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
